The No Good Diaper Bag

This is the diaper bag that I was determined to make for our new arrival. I love to cross-stitch so I decided to make the 3 Winnie-the-Pooh pieces (seen on the front of the bag) and then use a pattern to make the diaper bag. Well, let's just say I was about a week away from my due date and a little panicked that I wouldn't finish it on time for the baby. I'm not very good at sewing so I didn't really think about how complex a pattern could be. I was in tears almost everyday that I had to make this diaper bag because I couldn't figure it out and my hormones were out of control. My poor husband had to console me everytime I cried and tell me that it would all work out in the end. Who knew...I guess it did but at the time, I vowed that I would never make anything again, at least not using a Vogue pattern!!
