Our road trip out to Calgary was awesome!! My great friend, Tricia, threw a baby shower for me and it was so much fun. She is also pregnant and is due in September, only 8 weeks behind me. Thanks Tricia for the party and letting us stay with you while we were out there. Can't wait for our kids to play together but too bad we live so far apart.

We took some holidays and took a road trip out to Calgary. Since we lived in Calgary for 2 years before moving back to the west coast, we wanted to go and visit some friends. Instead of taking the fast route along the Coquihalla and the Trans Canada, we decided to take the long route through Crow's Nest Pass and take a few days traveling considering the size I was. I am about 3 days away from reaching my 3rd trimester in this photo, which was taken in Cranbrook, BC. After a night in Cranbrook, we reached Lethbridge and stayed with some friends out there and headed up to Calgary on the 3rd day. At the end of each day, my feet were so swollen that I couldn't even fit my feet into my shoes once I had taken them off. No more road trips when I'm 7 months pregnant!!
